Mercedes-Benz Sales Rise

Mercedes-Benz has reported record-breaking sales throughout the year, and the month of October is no different.  For the tenth month of 2012, Mercedes reported total sales of 23,978 units, which shows a 5.9% increase over last year.  This helps the automaker to a total year-to-date sales number of 215,596 new cars sold.  This is a new record total and an increase of almost 12% over last year. “Despite the challenges of a storm of this magnitude and the incredible hardship in the Northeast, our strongest market, we managed to achieve another record month,” Steve Cannon, president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA, told media. “We’re still optimistic about ending this year with the highest sales in our history.” Mercedes-Benz USA has also donated $1 Million to the American Red Cross for hurricane relief efforts.

The C-Class was the highest selling model as it is the sportiest and least expensive.  Most first-time luxury buyers opt for the Mercedes C-Class. For more information about the C-Class, or to take a look at any Mercedes vehicle, contact Barrier Motors.
