Volvo has recently announced the next-generation XC90 which will be released during the end of 2014 for the 2015 model year. It will be the first vehicle from Volvo to be built on their brand new versatile platform known as Scalable Product Architecture. It will also be one of the first to have an optional four-cylinder engine from the new family of engines currently being developed by Volvo.
